This page covers privacy for both this blog (hosted on Blogger, a Google product) and the SiriGraph Android app.

1. This Blog

This blog is hosted on Blogger (Blogspot), a Google service. Google may use cookies for functions like spam protection, comments, and (if we ever enable it) analytics or advertising. If you leave a comment, Blogger may collect the information you provide (name, email if using certain comment methods) — see Google's Privacy Policy for how Google/Blogger handles this. We don't run any tracking scripts of our own on this blog beyond what Blogger provides by default.

2. The SiriGraph App

All financial information you enter in the app — expenses, income, wallets, credit cards, EMIs, savings goals, budgets, and recurring payments — is stored locally on your device only. We do not upload, transmit, or have access to this data.

Permissions the app requests

  • Camera — for your profile photo and to scan receipts using on-device text recognition. Images are processed on your device and are not uploaded anywhere.
  • Notifications — for budget and bill reminders.
  • Biometric — only if you enable the optional App Lock feature. The app never sees or stores your biometric data, only a pass/fail result from your device's operating system.

Backup & restore

Backups are created only when you choose to, and you decide where to save or share them. We don't automatically upload backups to any server we control.

Advertising

The app shows ads via Google AdMob to free (non-Pro) users. AdMob may collect an advertising identifier and device/usage information, and — where required by law (EEA, UK, Switzerland) — the app asks for consent before showing personalized ads. You can remove ads with a one-time in-app purchase, or watch a rewarded ad for a temporary ad-free period.

In-app purchases

Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We don't receive or store your payment details.

Data sharing

We don't sell your data or share your financial data with third parties. Limited technical data (like an advertising ID) is shared only with Google for the ad-serving and billing purposes above.

Deleting your data

Delete individual entries any time in the app, clear all app data via your device's Settings, or uninstall the app to remove everything.

3. Children's Privacy

Neither this blog nor the app is directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

4. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
